Matt and Jenna Part Two

Yes, this is a photography site.

But more importantly it is an awareness site.

A site full of heart.

And this absolutely stole mine this morning.

This photo shoot was one of my all time favorites.  Working with Matt and Jenna was absolutely refreshing–they were so easy going, full of laughter and more than willing to walk through paths of sheer ice and huge snow drifts to get the perfect shot. Matt and Jenna requested that their engagement shoot be at Harriet Island–not far from where Jenna grew up.  Our time outside was incredible–no one else was out. It was like we had our own private area of downtown Saint Paul.  I guess that’s the effect of taking pictures on Super Bowl Sunday (GO COLTS!).  I could hardly wait to get home and start editing the many pictures I captured of this adorable couple.  Over the next few days I will continue to post all the shots I fell in love with.  Matt and Jenna, I cannot wait to be a part of your special day in August.

I just can’t love you enough

D and P Part Two

As I finish each edit, I will continue to post them below. (EDITED NOTE: ALL PICS ARE NOW POSTED) We started our morning with warm coffee at Cafe Latte on Grand Avenue.  Despite the weather Phill and Danielle were troopers as I dragged them they dragged me along Summit Avenue (we all wish we could live on that street–Governor Pawlenty, are you selling your home anytime soon?), along the bluffs of Harriet Island and through the Como Conservatory. Whew! Gosh darn it, Phill and Danielle–you are so stinkin’ cute!

I have never been so excited to come home and edit photos as I was today after my photo shoot with the Bransons in Saint Paul.  I met Danielle and Phill during our college years at Saint Olaf  (Um Ya Ya!).  Danielle and Phill were playful, creative and absolutely hilarious–in fact, they were telling ME how and where to pose and point the camera:-) These two are so genuinely in love with each other–the emotion that comes through in the pictures absolutely takes my breath away. Danielle and Phill–I couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful couple to shoot. Enjoy a few sneak peeks.

The wet weather has pushed back plans for Jenna and Matt’s engagement shoot today.  In the meantime, how could you NOT love these sweet six year old faces??
